Christ Followers – Character Builders – Experiential Learners

Spiritual Life
Spiritual life is a cornerstone of our TK-10 Seventh-day Adventist campus, nurturing the faith and character of our students. Through daily interactions in class, regular chapel services, and class vespers, students experience a consistent and meaningful spiritual journey. From the early years in kindergarten, children are given the opportunity to lead in chapels, fostering confidence and a sense of community. Our Bible classes further enrich this experience, offering in-depth study and discussion that helps students understand and live their faith.
Sports & Wellness
At RAA, students are exposed to a diverse range of sports throughout the school year, fostering physical activity and skill development. During the school year, students get the opportunity to participate in various sports, ensuring a well-rounded athletic experience.
Our high school students further enhance their physical development through dedicated time in the gym, utilizing different gym equipment and weights to build strength and endurance. This comprehensive approach to sports and physical education promotes health, discipline, and teamwork, preparing students for a lifetime of active living.

Fundraisers
Throughout the year, RAA also hosts multiple fundraisers. In the past, students have engaged in activities such as making breakfast burritos and selling pizza and nachos, and participating in Project Christmas Child, in addition to our springtime read-a-thon and run-a-thon events. These various fundraisers foster community spirit and support school initiatives.
Exhibitions
Every year, RAA students participate in exhibitions showcasing their talents in different areas of knowledge, including science, history, and arts. Students present their research, discoveries, and mastership to guests at the constituency meeting at the end of the year. Additionally, students in grades 7-10 participate in a Bible Theme Art Exhibition that can be viewed in the school’s foyer. This is a mixed-media project based on a biblical theme, where every year the school chooses a theme from the Bible, and students express themselves on canvas using different materials.

Gardens
RAA Gardening Program: RAA students enthusiastically participate in our gardening program, which is one of their favorites! They learn to prepare the soil, sow seeds, and care for the plants as they grow and harvest year-round, thanks to Redding’s unique climate. Our students gain invaluable experience learning about God’s creation by watching a bountiful array of produce flourish, including tomatoes, sweet peas, lettuce, potatoes, beets, eggplants, squashes, pumpkins, carrots, melons, cucumbers, and watermelons. This hands-on experience teaches students about God’s wonderful provision and nature.
Extended Care Program
Our Extended Care Program provides a safe, supervised environment for students in grades TK-8 until 5:30 p.m. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their child is cared for with engaging, faith-based activities. Flexible, nurturing, and aligned with our Christian values—perfect for busy families!
